Russian dictator putin stated that russia is facing "extremely complex demographic challenges" and to overcome them, it is necessary to revive the "traditions of large families". He made these remarks at the plenary session of the so-called "World russian People's Assembly", which took place via video conference on November 28.

"Many nations in Russia maintain the tradition of strong, multigenerational families, where four, five, or more children are raised... Just a few generations ago - in the families of the grandmothers and great-grandmothers of today's Russians - there were seven or eight children, or even more. Let's preserve and revive these wonderful traditions. Large families, having many children, should become the norm, a way of life for all the peoples of Russia", - said putin.

According to him, solving demographic problems is "impossible" with just money, benefits, social payments, and allowances.

"The national project 'Demography', which has been in effect since 2018 and has a budget of 4 trillion rubles, has so far been powerless to pull the country out of the demographic pit", - writes the opposition Russian publication "The moscow Times".

Earlier, it was reported that putin talked about the arrangement of the "russian world after victory": "Russia is at the forefront of shaping a more just world order".

It was also previously reported that putin announced the proclamation of a speech in the kremlin about the arrangement of the "russian world after victory over Ukraine".
