Russia has stated that out of the 17 "state" coal enterprises in the "DNR", only eight will remain, while the other nine have been deemed unprofitable and will be liquidated. Local media report this information citing the russian Ministry of Energy.
According to the ministry, the coal industry enterprises deemed promising by russian officials are "intended to be handed over for management to potential investors".
Reportedly, applications from two investors have been approved for the management of four coal mines at the moment.
