On November 8, a war criminal, Mikhail Filiponenko, was eliminated in the occupied city of Luhansk. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on their Telegram channel.
"On November 8, 2023, at 08:40 a.m., as a result of a car explosion, the so-called 'deputy of the 'Supreme Council of the LNR' from the russian LDPR party - Mikhail Filiponenko' was eliminated", - the message stated.
It is noted that he was involved in organizing torture rooms in the occupied territories of the Luhansk oblast, where prisoners of war and civilian hostages were subjected to inhumane treatment. Filiponenko personally carried out severe torture on people.
"The war criminal, who previously held the position of the so-called Minister of Internal Affairs of the terrorist entity 'LNR', lived at 48 Parashutna Street, Luhansk", - the Ukrainian intelligence reported.
A special operation to eliminate the executioner Filiponenko was carried out jointly with representatives of the resistance movement. As a result of the morning explosion, he died on the spot.
"The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine warns: all the addresses of residence of traitors and the places of their service in terrorist russia on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are known", - the message also stated.
It was previously reported that the former head of the "LNR People's Militia" died from the injuries sustained.
Earlier, there was also a version voiced that he might have been eliminated by his own colleagues.
