Nineteen soldiers from the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade lost their lives in a missile strike carried out by russians at the military compound in the Zaporizhzhia oblast. This information was reported by the Brigade on Facebook on November 6.
"The missile strike by the treacherous enemy claimed the lives of 19 warriors from the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade", - the message stated.
The military emphasized that an investigation into all the circumstances of the tragedy is currently underway and urged against spreading unverified information until the investigation is completed.
"Our best fighters have perished... We express our sincere condolences to their families and promise to avenge our comrades a hundredfold", - noted the 128th Brigade.
As reported, President Zelensky declared the commencement of a criminal investigation into the deaths of the soldiers from the 128th Assault Brigade.
