Russian forces shelled approximately 18 settlements in the Donetsk oblast over the past 24 hours, injuring four civilians. The Donetsk Oblast Military Administration reported this on Telegram on October 16th.
In particular, the enemy launched a rocket strike on Sloviansk, hitting near an enterprise on the outskirts of the city.
In Kostiantynivka, russian shells from Grad multiple rocket launchers damaged nine private houses, three apartment buildings, a boiler house and a gas pipeline.
Avdiivka experienced rocket strikes and sporadic shelling throughout the day.
Additionally, rashists shelled Vuhledar three times and targeted Novoukrainka four times, damaging a house. Two more houses and an administrative building were damaged in Toretsk. In the Chasiv Yar community, four apartment buildings and two private houses suffered partial destruction.
Damage to infrastructure and residential buildings was also reported in Novoselivka Persha, Soloviove, Siversk, Torske, Zarichne, Kolodezi and Stavky.
In the Kurakhove community, two people were wounded in Hannivka as a result of russian attacks. Two more individuals were injured in Netailove and Verkhniokamianske due to artillery strikes.
It was previously reported that 207 Points of Invincibility were prepared for operation in the Donetsk oblast this winter.
