In their Telegram channel, the soldiers of the 46th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces explained the current situation on the Avdiivka front.
"Regarding Avdiivka. According to our fellow soldiers' reports, the situation is a bit broader than some 'experts' portray. There is a series of primary and secondary enemy strikes across the entire front, not just near Avdiivka. Near Avdiivka, the rashists launched one of the primary attacks using a significant number of aerial and artillery strikes, followed by the introduction of a substantial number of troops. Heavy fighting is ongoing there, but drawing conclusions right now would be premature, just as saying that everything is 'under control' because several enemy attack directions did catch us somewhat off guard", - the soldiers write.
"Furthermore, a series of secondary strikes were simultaneously carried out on other sections of the front. Which one of them will become the main thrust direction is currently known only by the russian General Staff, and we hope ours as well. By the way, one of the secondary strikes occurred in the area of Novoprokopivka, with limited forces, practically without air and artillery support, and it was unsuccessful", - note the soldiers of the 46th Brigade.
"At the moment, probing the defense is taking place, and wherever possible, there will be attempts to break through with subsequent deployment of reserves. However, talking about any significant change in the situation is premature and senseless, including near Avdiivka", - emphasize the soldiers.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled all enemy assaults on the Avdiivka front.
