Russian forces continued to shell the Donetsk oblast on multiple fronts over the past day, dropping a guided FAB-250 aerial bomb on Kostiantynivka. This was reported by the Donetsk Oblast Police on October 2nd.

As a result of the strike in the city, two apartment buildings and a facility were damaged. The aftermath of the attack was documented by local Telegram channels, which also reported damage to railway tracks and power lines in Kostiantynivka.

In total, russians attacked 11 populated areas in the region 22 times within a day. The targeted areas included Avdiivka, Lyman, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Oleksiive-Druzhkivka, the villages of Kondrativka, Kostiantynivka, Nove, Novoukrainka, Oleksandro-Kalynove and Torske. Damage was inflicted on 35 residential buildings, a kindergarten, businesses, outbuildings, vehicles, and power lines.

Specifically, the occupiers launched a rocket strike on the village of Kondrativka, injuring four people, including a 17-year-old teenager. Using Smerch multiple launch rocket systems, the invaders targeted the village of Nove, where they wounded a civilian.

As a result of rocket shelling, one person was killed in Avdiivka, and another civilian was killed in Torske.

It was previously reported that the occupied city of Horlivka came under fire, damaging a section of the Siversky Donets-Donbas canal.
