The International Atomic Energy Agency has approved a resolution on the immediate return of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) under the full control of Ukraine on September 29th. This was announced by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, in his Telegram channel.

"During the 67th session of the IAEA General Conference, 69 countries supported the resolution on nuclear safety in Ukraine", - Yermak wrote.

The resolution, among other things, calls on russia to immediately withdraw all military and other unauthorized personnel from ZNPP and return the plant under the full control of the competent authorities of Ukraine.

"I would like to remind you that President Volodymyr Zelensky's peace formula includes nuclear safety, and this is an important point of the formula", - Yermak emphasized.

Earlier, it was reported that the IAEA confirmed the mining of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.
