Russian occupiers shelled the city of Siversk and the village of Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk oblast, resulting in the death of one woman and injuries to four local residents. This information was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General on Telegram.

"On September 6, 2023, at 3:00 PM, the occupiers shelled the city of Siversk, presumably using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). As a result of the projectile explosion, a local resident was killed, and three other individuals, two men aged 42 and 60, and a 73-year-old woman, sustained shrapnel wounds". - the statement said.

Later the same day, at around 6:40 PM, the enemy conducted artillery shelling of the village of Velyka Novosilka.

"An 81-year-old woman there received shrapnel wounds. According to preliminary information, the army of the aggressor state shelled the settlement with artillery", - the prosecutors noted.

The statement also mentioned that all the injured individuals received first aid.

Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438, Parts 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
