On September 4th, the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada supported the resignation of Oleksiy Resnikov from the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak in his Telegram channel.
"The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Defense supported Resnikov's resignation from the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine", - he wrote.
He noted that there were 16 votes in favor, and two members abstained.
It was previously reported that Resnikov submitted his resignation to the Verkhovna Rada.
