Occupiers attacked Mykolaiv during the night of July 20th, resulting in a fire in a residential building. There are casualties, with at least 18 people injured. Mykolaiv city mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, and the head of the Oblast Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, reported this on Telegram.
According to Vitaliy Kim, as of 06:14, a total of 18 people were affected, with 9 of them hospitalized, including 5 children. Two people, a man and a woman, were rescued from under the debris.
"Municipal workers have arrived at the scene to start cleaning up the area. The authorities have two locations for accommodating the residents. Representatives of the district administration are working with the residents", - said Mykolaiv city mayor Senkevych.
The head of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, Vitaliy Kim, noted that a residential building caught fire as a result of the shelling, and there are casualties.
Earlier, Senkevych mentioned that the missile hit the city center.
"There is a huge crater near a three-story residential building. The fire is very serious. Emergency services are already at the scene. Many neighboring buildings are damaged. Several garages are on fire at another scene, and firefighters are working to extinguish them", - stated the city mayor.
Later, he added that at least 5 multi-story residential buildings were damaged (windows, doors, balconies and ceilings).
"At another scene, around 15 garages were damaged, and windows in several apartment buildings were shattered", - Senkevych said.
