On June 27, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi reported on Telegram that he inspected the command posts of the operational command North.
"Together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Shaptala, we worked at the command posts of the operational command North. In the area of its responsibility, there continue to be systematic enemy artillery shelling of the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, as well as the use of sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Our military remains vigilant, conducts reconnaissance, and constantly works on improving their defensive capabilities. We are monitoring the enemy in the north and are ready to give a worthy response", - he noted.
As previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that there is currently progress in all directions where Ukrainian forces are conducting offensive operations.
