According to the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (MID) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, russia no longer has any offensive potential, but it has built significant defensive lines. He made these remarks in an interview with the program Different People, as reported by the BBC.

"The potential for offensive actions is completely exhausted; they now have the potential for defense. It is true: they have built a tiered, proper, powerful defense. But it is no longer the same russian army that could conduct serious offensive operations", - Budanov said.

According to him, russia has already deployed everything it could against Ukraine.

Responding to a question about the size of the russian grouping, Budanov stated that there are about 370,000 military personnel involved in the conflict with Ukraine, slightly over 20,000 National Guard troops, and approximately 7,000 members of various militarized formations, including private military companies, different types of volunteers and so on.

As previously reported, Budanov stated that the Main Intelligence Directorate is involved in some of the actions targeting propagandists on russian territory.
