There will be no sharp increase in gas prices in Ukraine anymore. It was announced by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko on the air of Sobytiye news programme, - informs the press-service of the Ukraina channel.

"We provide the economic and exchange rate stability in Ukraine. I am sure that there will be no sharp increase in gas prices anymore. We have reached economically justified level and market price. Now the gas price will fluctuate for small changes in percents of both increase and reduction. We have already passed the most difficult stage,when it was necessary to make a political decision, "- said Rozenko, answering the question on possible increase in gas prices.

As previously reported, the gas price for the population increased in Ukraine as of May 1st: The Cabinet set a single price for all consumers 6.88 UAH per cubic meter of gas, there will be no benefits during the heating season.
