Three people became victims in a russian missile attack on Kyiv on January 26 - one dead and two wounded. The Prosecutor General’s Office reports this on Telegram.
"According to the investigation, on January 26, 2023, the armed forces of the russian federation carried out rocket attacks on infrastructure facilities in the city of Kyiv, using means of warfare prohibited by international law. According to preliminary data, one person was killed in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital as a result of the shelling, two more were injured", - representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
At the same time, as prosecutors noted, information about the dead and wounded as a result of the strike is still being specified. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are on the scene.
At the moment, the capital’s prosecutor’s office has opened a case under part 2 of article 438 (Violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Pre-trial investigation of this case is carried out by the SBU investigators.
