Owner of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin is ready to recruit women who are serving sentences for crimes committed for the war against Ukraine. This is said in the message of his press service.
Earlier, deputy of the legislative assembly of the Sverdlovsk oblast Vyacheslav Wegner proposed taking female prisoners to PMC Wagner. In his letter to Prigozhin, the deputy wrote that women from one of the Nizhny Tagil colonies had approached him and stated they were ready to go to war as signalwomen and nurses.
"I absolutely agree with you. Not only as nurses and signalmen, but also in sabotage groups and sniper pairs. Everyone knows that this was widely used. We are working in this direction. There is resistance, but I think we will press on", - the press service close to Prigozhin said in a statement.
