Almost one third of Odessa residents who took part in the poll strongly do not support the UOC MP. It is evidenced by the results of sociological study Odessa Omnibus conducted by Active Group research and communications center.

Thus, 13.7% of respondents "fully support" the UOC MP, 12.4% - "rather support". 21% of Odessa residents are neutral about the UOC-MP. One third (33.2%) of respondents " do not support strongly " UOC MP and another 18.8% - "rather do not support".

Despite Odessa residents’ low support to church organizations, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kiev Patriarchate has a leading position compared with other churches. Thus, 20.2% of respondents "fully support" the UOC KP and another 18.5% - "rather support". 23.3% of the surveyed residents of Odessa have neutral attitude to the UOC KP . 24% of Odessa residents "do not support strongly" UOC KP and another 13.5% - "rather do not support".

There are a few supporters of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church in Odessa. For example, only 4.5% of Odessa residents "fully support" and 8.7% - "rather support" this church. 15.7% of respondents are neutral to the UAOC. But 41.1% of the respondents "do not support strongly" the UAOC, 23% - "rather do not support".

In addition, only 8.3% of respondents said they "fully support" Protestants, and another 8.9% of the respondents "rather support". 18% of Odessa residents expressed a neutral attitude to the Protestant churches. At the same time, 42.3% of respondents "do not support strongly" Protestantism and 17.9% - "rather do not support".

7.7% of residents of Odessa "fully support" the Greek Catholic Church, 12.6% - "rather support". But 15.3% of Odessa residents are neutral in their attitude to the Greek Catholic Church. 36.2% "don not support strongly" the Uniate Church and 24.1% - "rather do not support."

11% of residents of Odessa "fully support" the Catholic Church and another 12% - "rather support". 16.6% of the surveyed residents of Odessa have neutral attitude to the Catholic Church to. 38.7% of Odessa residents "do not support strongly" Catholics and another 16.3% - "rather do not support".

On April 16-17th 1939 respondents were able to answer our questions, thereby forming their attitude to the churches. Field phase of the study was conducted in Odessa by Active Group company in the framework of the Odessa omnibus programme which was launched in June. The error does not exceed 2.5%.

Active Group urban omnibus project was launched in June 2015. Regular (monthly) surveys commissioned by several customers with different tasks that jointly finance them take place within the project.
