In the "LNR", men hiding from the commandant's patrols are convinced that there is no forced mobilization in the "republic". This was stated by Alexey Kurchenko, who calls himself deputy "military commissar", in a commentary to one of the separatist media.

According to him, numerous videos showing that the commandant's patrols round up men and, after checking their documents, send them to "mobilization" buses are staged stories of the Ukrainian special services.

"Ukrainian special services intend to spread fakes about forced mobilization in the LNR… At the moment, the mobilization of men of military age in the LNR is not carried out. These messages are staged and falsified", - Kucherenko stated.

He did not specify how armed special forces in the form of the "LNR" militants of Ukraine can operate freely in crowded places in the occupied cities of the Luhansk oblast.

The "deputy military commissar" hypocritically claims that only volunteers are recruited into the so-called "people's militia" and they are paid a monetary allowance of $3 000.

As previously reported, in February 2022, the so-called mobilization of the entire male population to participate in the war against Ukraine was announced in the occupied territories of Donbas. Due to heavy losses among "reservists" unprepared for military affairs, including students, it was nicknamed "gravelization".
