The building of railway station in the Kyivskyi district of occupied Donetsk caught fire due to shelling. This was announced in the separatist segment of social networks on the afternoon of August 5.
"Right now in the Kyivskyi district of Donetsk… black clouds of smoke are rising into the sky. The railway station is on fire", - the message says.
They also write that a woman was wounded along the Savchenko Street.
In addition, 16 transformer substations are de-energized in the Kyivskyi district, 4200 subscribers are left without electricity.
Separatist propaganda traditionally blamed the AFU for this shelling, without indicating that it was the "DNR" militants, with powerful fire support from the russian army, who began active hostilities after February 24 in order to "reach the administrative borders of the oblast".
