The Ukrainian military was able to stabilize the situation on the war front with russia. This was reported on July 18 by Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
"We managed to stabilize the situation. It is difficult, tense, but fully controlled", - the Chief Committee assured.
An important factor in achieving this was the supply of HIMARS missile systems, which deliver targeted strikes on russian control points, ammunition and fuel storage facilities.
Zaluzhny also reported on negotiations with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley.
"On the eve of the meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine, General Milley and I synchronized the requests of the Ukrainian side. I sincerely thanked my colleague and, on his behalf, the United States and its allies for their help in the fight for freedom", - the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU stated.
Let us recall that earlier, Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov stated that the USA is satisfied with the results of Ukraine's use of the HIMARS MLRS.
