Russian military of GRU General Staff of the Russian Federation Evgeniy Erofeyev and Alexander Alexandrov were sentenced to 14 years in prison with confiscation of all property that they own. The corresponding decision was announced by presiding judge Nikolay Didyk at the session on April 18th, - said the UP.

Before the sentence comes into force, a preventive measure in the form of detention will be applied to them. Including the term of detention from May 16th to April 17th.

According to 112. ua, Russian soldiers were found guilty on all counts. Among them there is an aggressive war, terrorism and illegal movement of weapons across the border of Ukraine, illegal crossing of the border of temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.

"Evidence of pre-trial investigation ... is considered by the court to be appropriate and adequate," - read out the judge.

The court has not taken into account a number of evidences for the defense. In particular, it didn’t confirm that the commandos were fighters of the "people's militia of the LPR".
