President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has put the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the register of oligarchs into effect. The corresponding decree was posted on the website of the Office of the President on June 30.

According to the NSDC decision, the register will be maintained in electronic form in Ukrainian. It will not include data that contains state secrets and proprietary information.

At the same time, data on oligarchs that are entered into the register cannot be considered confidential. Such information includes full name, date and place of birth, identification data, passport details and so on.

Also, the register will indicate the rationale for recognizing a particular person as an oligarch.

"Declarants, registrars, employees of the register holder and administrator, as well as head, secretary and members of the NSDC, officials and employees of other state bodies will have access to the register", - the decree says.

It was earlier reported that the NSDC approved the regulation on the register of oligarchs.
