Mayor of Siyatohirsk Vladimir Bandura, who went over to the side of the russian occupiers, was a defendant in criminal cases even before russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, and was quite incompetent as a leader. This was announced on the air of a single telethon on June 13 by head of the Donetsk Oblast Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
"I am well aware of what criminal proceedings were registered before February 24 against the specified individual (Bandura - ed.), and it was clear how this "manager" and his career of the head of the city of Sviatohirsk would end for him. I am now speaking only about the economy, I know what "kindergartens" he built by means of the city budget. We are working in this direction, and the result will be regardless whether he got closer to the pseudo-republics or not. Law enforcement agencies will make appropriate statements in this direction. Moreover, the article "high treason" will be added to all this. We will additionally inform on the measures to be taken further after the liberation of this community", - Kirilenko stated.
According to him, Bandura proved himself to be an exceptionally incompetent leader who gave nothing to Sviatohirsk and the community during the war.
"Bandura was a protege of Natalia Korolevska. All assistance to the city, even before the full-scale invasion, was carried out through military administrations. Even calling him to me, I would hardly have received a competent and motivated answer on the problems that occurred in the city. Therefore, the problems were solved without his intervention", - Kyrylenko noted.
Let us recall that on June 13, leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin offered traitor Vladimir Bandura to head the occupation administration of Sviatohirsk captured by the rashists.
