"People have been provided with the opportunity to start getting on with their peaceful lifes" on the territory of Ukraine devastated and captured by the russian army. Press secretary of the president of the russian federation Dmitry Peskov told this journalists quite seriously on June 3, - the government's Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
Peskov repeated once again that the so-called "special military operation" in Ukraine would continue "until all goals are achieved".
According to him, "one of the main goals of the operation is to protect people in the DNR and LNR". "Measures are being taken to ensure their protection," Peskov said.
"Certain results have been achieved: many settlements have been liberated from the pro-Nazi armed forces of Ukraine, as well as directly from nationalist elements, and people have been provided with the opportunity to start getting on with their peaceful lifes", - the kremlin speaker informed.
As reported, the russian army seized part of the territory in eastern Ukraine, having previously destroyed the entire infrastructure there, depriving people of water, electricity and gas supply.
