The Chernobyl nuclear power plant was left without power supply as a result of the actions of the Russian occupiers. This is said in the press service of Ukrenergo.
"The hostilities continue, which makes repair work and restoration of power supply impossible. The city of Slavutych is also de-energized. Ukrenergo monitors the situation and will inform about all changes", - the message notes.
As previously reported, the Russian military seized the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on February 24. The staff is being held hostage.
