Deputies of the State Duma of Russia have supported sending of an appeal to the President of the Russian Federation on the recognition of the so-called "DNR" and "LNR" by a majority of votes. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly on his pages in social networks.
"The deputies decided at the plenary session to send an appeal to the President to consider the issue of recognizing the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic as sovereign and independent states", - he wrote.
As previously reported, the Ukrainian side is considering the possible recognition by Russia of the statehood of the so-called "DNR" and "LNR" as a withdrawal of the Russian Federation from the Minsk agreements.
