Russian officials will not take part in the Munich Security Conference, which will be held on February 18-20. This was stated by official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, - Russian Interfax reports.

"We are forced to state with regret that the Conference has been increasingly transforming into such a transatlantic forum in recent years, losing its inclusiveness and objectivity", - Zakharova said.

"Interest for this event in Moscow has noticeably dropped", - she stated.

As previously reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky received an invitation to participate in the Munich Security Conference. It is expected that the Conference will be attended by more than 30 heads of states and governments, as well as more than 100 ministers and heads of many important international organizations such as the UN, NATO and the EU.
