First vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Kornienko has decided to resign as head of the Servant of the People party. This was reported in the Telegram channel by speaker of Servant of the People Yulia Paliychuk.
"Oleksandr Kornienko decided to resign as head of the Servant of the People political party. This is due to his desire to focus more deeply on the reform of the parliament's work as first vice speaker", - she reported.
According to her, a congress of the Servant of the People party will take place in November, at which the rotation of the leadership will take place.
Earlier, Oleksandr Kornienko was elected the first vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.
