1334 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
1334 people fell ill over the past day, including 86 children and 21 health workers. 1019 people were hospitalized, 68 – died.
6999 people recovered on May 23.
16 097 tests were carried over the past day, of which 8684 – by PCR, 1462 – by EIA and 5951 – by rapid antigen tests.
2 183 855 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 957 560 patients recovered and 49 436 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (125), the Dnipropetrovsk (190), Mykolaiv (151), Kharkiv (101) and Kyiv (75) oblasts.
