Russian officer shot a militant-deserter who wanted to surrender to the AFU in occupied Donbass. It is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"In connection with the significant losses and risk of involvement in offensive hostilities, the level of morale continues to fall among Russian soldiers of the 1st AC of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who are at the front. On March 19th this year seven soldiers of the 11 SMRR (Makeyevka) deserted from the industrial zones of Avdeyevka. When attempting to surrender to the AFU, one of the deserters was killed by the Russian officer," - said the statement.
