17 569 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine over the past day. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.
17 569 people fell ill over the past day, including 813 children and 486 health workers. 5160 people were hospitalized, 421 – died.
9602 people recovered on March 31.
132 759 tests were carried over the past day, of which 59 803 – by PCR, 22 276 – by EIA and 50 680 – by rapid antigen tests.
1 691 737 people fell ill for the entire time of the pandemic in Ukraine, 1 323 083 patients recovered and 33 246 – died.
The largest number of confirmed cases over the past day was registered in the city of Kyiv (1150), the Odesa (1305), Khmelnytskyi (1142), Lviv (1141) and Zhytomyr (1037) oblasts.
