The Cabinet of Ministers intends to restore control over the border with the Russian Federation in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. The corresponding item was included in the Integrated Border Management Strategy up to 2025. The relevant decision was made at the government meeting on the initiative of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, - RBC.Ukraine reports.
"Ensuring readiness to protect the Ukrainian-Russian section of the state border within certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts after the resumption of control over them", - the order says.
At the same time, it is specified that the initiative involves "planning of events to resume the protection of the Ukrainian-Russian section of the state border within certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts".
