Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov has announced the expulsion of People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky from the Servant of the People faction, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"According to Art. 60 of the Rules of the Verkhovna Rada and the decision of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction of February 1, 2021, I inform you about the expulsion of People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky from the Servant of the People faction", - Razumkov reported.

As it was reported earlier, the Servant of the People faction voted to expel People's Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky from its ranks at its meeting on February 1.

198 members of the faction voted for the expulsion of Dubinsky, 29 were against and 19 did not vote.

Dubinsky himself called his exile a "manipulative story" and noted that neither signature lists nor other voting results were presented.

"This is not voting at all, this is a pure farce… You understand that the faction has passed all the red lines, we saw the true faces of political actors both in the Office of the President and in the Ukrainian parliament. We understand full well that this is a manipulative result that was necessary for specific people to receive specific dividends, namely political, and to solve their own problems", - Dubinsky said following the meeting.

Earlier, the USA imposed sanctions against Dubinsky due to interference in the United States presidential election. President Volodymyr Zelensky asked Dubinsky to leave the Servant of the People faction, but he refused. On January 29, the Servant of the People faction began to collect signatures for the expulsion of Dubinsky.
