The Verkhovna Rada has adopted bill No.4467, which provides for the extension of a special order of local self-government in certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts until December 31, 2021, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
304 people's deputies supported the decision.
The Batkivshchyna and Voice parties opposed the adoption of the bill.
The law on a special procedure for local self-government in CADLO was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada in September 2014 for a period of three years.
The document provides that a special procedure for local self-government in certain areas of the Donbas comes into force only after the withdrawal of all illegal armed formations, their military equipment, as well as militants and mercenaries from the territory of Ukraine.
