President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced safe reintegration of the occupied territories. He said this today in his annual address to the Verkhovna Rada today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"In order for the Ukrainian anthem to sound at the Donbas Arena and our flag to fly over the Crimea, we have to make decisions that bring the de-occupation closer. All Ukrainians should equally understand what will happen after the liberation and the return of our temporarily occupied territories. Having achieved peace, we will begin a safe reintegration using successful international experience", - he reported.
According to the president, this will be a package of bills on the transitional period.
"First of all, about responsibility, and there is a large field for manipulation. The terrible word "amnesty" is not about everyone, not about avoiding responsibility, but about millions of our citizens, on whose hands there is no blood and who are now actually held hostage by the occupiers. They need a strong signal that there is no need to be afraid", - Zelensky noted.
