The Security Service of Ukraine together with the Prosecutor's Office and the internal security of the National Police detained on bribe a criminal investigator of the Criminal Investigation Police in Krivoy Rog. It is reported by the press center of the SSU.
According to the report, the police captain demanded a local resident to bring him 125,000 hryvnia not to be held criminally liable for thefts.
The criminal proceedings on the Part 3 of Art. 368 (gaining undue advantage) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been opened. While documenting illegal activities and conducting urgent investigative actions the involvement of several other officials of the National Police in the criminal scheme was revealed, - says the report.
