Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that a real ceasefire will be established in eastern Ukraine after July 27. He told this during his working trip to the Donbass, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"I want to believe that the ceasefire will come on July 27. This is critically important for us", - the head of state said.

He added that he and President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga "have just received a draft joint statement from partners in the Normandy Four (France and Germany), supporting the complete ceasefire along the entire demarcation line from July 27".

The President of Switzerland, taking part in the working trip, in turn, expressed the hope that the ceasefire would be long this time.

As previously reported, an agreement on a complete and comprehensive ceasefire on the contact line in the east from July 27 was reached at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (Ukraine, Russia, the OSCE), which took place in the format of a video conference on July 22. According to the decision, a complete and comprehensive ceasefire must be observed from 00:01 on July 27, 2020.
