Leader of the "DNR" Denis Pushilin intends to allow residents of the occupied territories to travel to Russia to obtain Russian passports. He told t this during the so-called "question-and-answer session with the residents of Donbass".

The head of the occupation administration once again stated that he did not intend to allow the opening of checkpoints on the contact line because of the threat of the spread of COVID-19. At the same time, Pushilin is ready to open the "border" with the Rostov oblast of Russia.

"The situation with the Russian Federation is just the opposite. There is a positive dynamics, in the finest sense of this word. There is a decrease by the number of cases and an increase by the number of people who have recovered. We are working on the ways of easing. We are going to give the opportunity to leave for a passport of the Russian Federation in the near future", - he stated.

As reported, 338 cases of diseased with coronavirus which the "DNR" leader is afraid of were recorded in the Donetsk oblast on June 16. At the same time, 7799 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Rostov oblast. The region takes 10th place in Russia in terms of the growth of infected per day.
