19 230 cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of May 20. This was reported by Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov at a briefing in Kyiv today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.
"354 people fell ill over the past day, of which 28 children and 61 health workers", - he stated.
According to him, 16 deaths from COVID-19 have been recorded over the past day.
"In total, 19 230 people fell ill during the pandemic, including 1376 children and 3757 health workers. 5955 people recovered and 564 died", - Maksym Stepanov said.
The Minister noted that 8568 tests on COVID-19 were carried out by PCR over the past day.
