The Cabinet of Ministers intends to extend quarantine in Ukraine until May 22. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at an extraordinary meeting of the government today, - correspondent of OstroV reports.

"The quarantine will continue until May 22. We will look further at how the pandemic will move in the world and how the incidence curve will fluctuate in Ukraine. Low incidence rate today is the result of timely quarantine and a disciplined attitude of Ukrainians to these procedures", - he stated.

As previously reported, Ukraine confirmed 12 331 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus as of May 4, 303 people died, 1619 - recovered.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced an emergency situation throughout Ukraine and extended quarantine until May 11.

The Cabinet will begin to lift quarantine restrictions in Ukraine from May 11.
