Representatives of Russian special services are trying to recruit Ukrainian security officials during negotiations on exchange of captives. Adviser to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Yuriy Tandit told about it on Channel 5, - reports Ukrainska Pravda.

"Now we feel the presence of the so-called great instructors from the Russian Federation. We see them. They sometimes even try to enter our territory, recruit us, communicate with us, even when we negotiate on release of captives," - he said.

"The arrival of Vladislav Surkov is understandable for all. They are present here and try to control the situation," - said Tandit.

Earlier, the SSU reported that Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov was in Donetsk occupied by pro-Russian militants on February 16th.

"During his visit Russian citizen Surkov listened to reports by heads of local administrations of pseudo republic of the DPR, learned about the peculiarities of the socio-political and military-political situation in the region," - said the head of the Staff of the head of the SSU Alexander Tkachuk.

According to him, one of the issues was the preparation of the so-called elections on the occupied territories.

Tkachuk also reminded that Surkov was in tLuhansk region with a similar mission on January 19-20th .
