According to reports, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev decided to resign amid proposals announced by the president to amend the Constitution.
According to Medvedev, further decision on the composition of the government will be made by President Putin in accordance with Article 117 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
