Spokesman for the Russian president Dmitry Peskov has stated that it was prematurely to talk about the "Normandy format" meeting before the end of the year, - the Russian TASS reports.
Asked whether the summit could be held before the end of the year, the Kremlin spokesman said: "It is prematurely to talk, so far there are still a lot of questions on the agenda".
Peskov refused to talk about the content of the document, which may be adopted at the end of the future summit.
"Russia's position on the Normandy format is unchanged and consistent. Russia and President Vladimir Putin advocate continuing work in the Normandy format. We want to hold the summit as soon as possible, but at the same time, we believe that this summit should be well prepared to ensure appropriate results", - he said.
Peskov also added that the Kremlin hopes to complete the process of the disengagement of forces in the Donbass.
"We are closely monitoring the situation. Any reports that the disengagement of forces is breaking down is a matter of deep concern. We hope that despite the difficulties, the process will be completed and finalized", - the Kremlin representative said.
Earlier, Russia put forward a condition for a meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and the Russian Federation - to sign the so-called "Steinmeier formula", another condition is the disengagement of forces and means in Zolote and Petrovske.
On November 4, Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko stated that the Russian Federation demands to agree on a document that will be the result of the Normandy Four summit just before the meeting of the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France. This was stated at a briefing by Minister of Foreign Affairs Vadym Prystaiko, - RBC-Ukraine reports. "In September, when we agreed, there were only two requirements: the "Steinmeier formula" and disengagement in three sections. We are now completing the third section, and the Russian party is starting to talk about the document that the parties should agree on. There was no such requirement, although if it is the document, which should be based on the results of the meeting, it can be prepared. We are ready for this meeting and hope that if there are no shelling, we will start disengaging in Petrovske", - Prystaiko said.
According to preliminary information, the disengagement of forces and means in Petrovske can be carried out on November 8.
