The withdrawal of troops in Petrovske and Zolote did not start today due to recent shelling by the militants. This was stated by head of the Ukrainian MFA Vadym Prystaiko, - RBC-Ukraine reports.
Prystaiko noted that the withdrawal of troops begins on the seventh day after there was no shelling at a particular site, but militants fired at Petrovske and Zolote several days ago.
"The disengagement should begin today. This was agreed in Minsk. Unfortunately, both Petrovske and Zolote were fired at a few days ago. Our decision was that the withdrawal starts on day 7 after no shelling occurs at a particular site. That is why we now have to wait until the next 7 days will happen, which should prove that the parties are ready for further steps, such as disengagement", - Prystaiko stated.
