The European Solidarity political party has chosen former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko as its leader. The decision was made at the congress on May 31, - Livyi Bereh reports.
There were six questions on the agenda of the congress. The election of head of the party was listed in it as the first point.
The congress stopped the powers of head of the party Vitaliy Klytschko, who resigned back in 2016, and approved Poroshenko. He said that he considered it an honor to lead a political force that "was not afraid to take on quite a heavy cross for five years - the responsibility for saving the country, which was on the edge of the abyss".
