Former commander of the U.S. ground forces in Europe, Lieutenant General Ben Hodges is confident that Odessa will become the next city to be occupied by Russia. He announced this in Prague at a security conference dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the accession of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland to NATO on Tuesday, March 12, - Apostrof reports with reference to Česke Noviny.
"This is the area where Russia is carrying out the largest and most powerful aggression. If the West does nothing with the annexation of Crimea, it is quite possible that Odessa will be the next city to be occupied, and perhaps, Romania as well", – the lieutenant general believes.
