50 largest Ukrainian state-owned companies will be subject to international audit. Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk said that at today's Cabinet of Ministers meeting, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.

"About top 50 state-owned companies. The government states that all the top 50 state-owned companies, in accordance with the decision of the Nomination Committee, should receive new independent directors. Neither the Prime Minister nor the Minister shall manage state-owned companies. I'm not talking about the factions and individual deputies. It is a violation of the law, it is political corruption, that we will not tolerate. Therefore, nominating independent committee, a decision on which was made last year, the Ministry of Economy received all the powers on it. Please, make a decision on the beginning of competitions on 50 largest state companies", - he said.

According to him, such a procedure will be also introduced for state banks as well.

"International audit will be conducted at 50 largest public companies. That is the principle of real zero tolerance to corruption and lack of political pressure and political interference,"- said Yatsenyuk.
