President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has stated termination of the martial law from 2 p.m. on December 26. The president said this at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on December 26.
"The martial law is being terminated today at 2 p.m. This is my overriding decision. It is based on the analysis of all components of the current security situation in the state", - the president said.
As previously reported, on November 26, he signed a decree "On the introduction of martial law in Ukraine", which introduces martial law for 30 days - until December 26 of the current year.
