The Russian Federation are directly connected with sending troops to conduct combat operations with Ukraine. This was stated by Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko during the meeting with foreign military attaches in Kiev today, - informs Interfax-Ukraine.
"I think that all the actions of the Russian troops (in the zone of fighting in certain districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions - Ed.) are carried out on the orders of the senior military and political, and military authorities of the Russian Federation", - said V.Muzhenko.
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed that the Ukrainian side has reliable data on the participation of Russian troops in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine: "These facts are confirmed, for sure in Debaltsevo."
"We do not have information about the actual presence of Defense Minister Shoigu there, but the there is no doubt that the management of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation knew about them," - V.Muzhenko said, recalling that the presence of General-Colonel AF of the RF Alexander Lentsov near Debaltsevo, he was the representative of the Russian Federation in JCCC.
Previously, information appeared on the Internet that proves that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu gave wounded soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces watches for participating in the battles near Debaltsevo in 2015. The corresponding investigations were conducted by Russian activist Conflict Intelligence Team.
