"Battalion tactical exercises started at the site near Torez, in which infantry, tank, artillery, intelligence, engineering units, air defenses, communications and service troops are involved," - reported the so-called "Ministry of Defense" of the so-called "DPR".
Militants believe that such activities are not in violation of the Minsk agreements. "We sent a letter to OSCE observers about the upcoming exercise at the site near Torez. SMM has been aware of our future plans for a long time," - added they.
Militants also carried out "a cycle of exercises on the defense at the level of battalions, fire control, as well as the procedure of evacuation of equipment and the wounded from the battlefield" in mid-December.
